Tengrinews.kz – The Board of the National Bank of Kazakhstan has issued a resolution on foreign exchange regulation.

According to the document, starting from February 28, Kazakhstan has established permissible deviations in the exchange rate spread between buying and selling cash foreign currency in banking and non-banking exchange offices. These limits (spreads) are set at 7 tenge for the US dollar and 10 tenge for the euro.

"If banking and non-banking exchange offices fail to comply with these limits, the National Bank recommends submitting complaints to its regional branches for appropriate measures in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the statement said.

It is worth noting that previously, the exchange rate deviation limits were set at 15 tenge for the US dollar and 20 tenge for the euro.
