Tengrinews.kz — Kazhydromet forecasters have released the weather forecast for April 2, 3, and 4.
Rain and thunderstorms to sweep across Kazakhstan
According to the forecast, at the beginning of the period, warm spring weather without precipitation will persist in northern, eastern, and southeastern Kazakhstan. A southern cyclone will affect the western regions, bringing unstable weather there and, as it moves eastward, also to the northern, central, and southern regions.
“Rain and thunderstorms are expected, with at times heavy rain, stronger winds, and possible hail and squally winds in the northwest during the daytime. Fog is also expected during the night and morning hours,” the forecasters said.
What about temperatures?
Daytime temperatures will be:
- in the northwest and north, decreasing from 15–25°C to 12–20°C;
- in the south, decreasing from 27–32°C to 18–25°C;
- in the west, increasing from 13–20°C to 18–25°C;
- in the east, rising to 18–26°C;
- in central Kazakhstan, remaining within 15–25°C;
- in the southeast, reaching 25–30°C.
