Cold is retreating: when and where it will get warmer in Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet forecasters have presented the weather forecast for 29, 30 and 31 January.

Frosts are retreating

Over the next three days, most of Kazakhstan will be under the influence of a vast anticyclone, bringing predominantly dry weather.

“Only the western, southern and southeastern regions of the country will be affected by atmospheric frontal systems, where precipitation in the form of rain and snow, drifting snow, icy conditions, and, in the mountain areas of Turkistan Region on 31 January, heavy precipitation is expected. Fog and strengthening winds are forecast across Kazakhstan,” the forecasters said.

What about temperatures

According to meteorologists, air temperatures across Kazakhstan will gradually rise. During the day on 31 January, thermometers are expected to reach:

• in the west, south and southeast of Kazakhstan: from –5 to +5 °C,
• in the northwest, north, east and center: –2 to –10 °C.
