Cyclone to bring downpours
In the final days of July, unstable weather will persist across Kazakhstan due to a large cyclone accompanied by atmospheric fronts. Meteorologists warn of rain, at times with thunderstorms and hail. Heavy downpours and squally winds are possible in the northern, northwestern, central regions and the mountainous areas of the southeast.
Across the country, wind intensification is expected, and dust storms cannot be ruled out in the southern regions.
Temperature outlook
Air temperatures in the northern part of the country will drop to +18…+23°C. In other regions, no sharp temperature changes are expected.
