Tengrinews.kz - The closing ceremony of the V World Nomad Games will take place on September 13. It will be held without an audience at the ethno-village. This was announced by the Akimat (local government administration) of Astana.

Due to budget cuts earlier this year, the event will be conducted in a protocol format without grand celebrations or spectators. The closing ceremony will be broadcast live on leading Kazakhstani TV channels, according to the city administration.

"Organizers have also addressed the emerging information about ticket sales for the closing ceremony. In this regard, an official statement has been made: ticket sales for the closing ceremony are not being conducted. Any such offers are fraudulent, and citizens are urged to be vigilant," the Akimat advised.

They explained that the closing ceremony is intended exclusively for participants and does not allow for the presence of spectators, urging people "not to fall for suspicious offers."

The city administration also provided information about the final days of operation for the ethno-villages. Currently, there are five such ethno-villages in the capital, located at the following sites: the Kazanat hippodrome, Kazakh Eli Monument, Ataturk Park, the Baiterek monument, and the Central Park.

The ethno-village Koshpendiler Alemi will close on September 13 at 19 PM, as reported on the official website of the city's administration.

The Koshpendiler Alemi ethno-village is situated on a 10-hectare area near the Kazanat hippodrome.

"The ethno-village is divided into several areas: the Central Square, a children's playground for national games, a tent for folk music, the open-air museum of nomadic civilizations, sports activities, national cuisine, the main stage, a special city with ethno-settlements representing different regions, craftsmen, and the Eastern Market," the statement said.

Yurts have been set up in the ethno-villages near the Kazakh Eli monument, Ataturk Park, the Baiterek monument, and Central Park. Here, national souvenirs made by craftsmen are sold, and traditional dishes and drinks such as irimshik, zhent, tary, talkan, kurt, kumys, and shubat are offered. Concert programs and sports activities are also held in the ethno-villages.

There are also photo zones, and paintings dedicated to the nomadic heritage of Kazakhstan are available for sale.
