Tengrinews.kz - A formal welcoming ceremony was held at the Presidential Complex in Ankara for President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who arrived in the Republic of Turkey on an official visit, citing Akorda.
In honor of President Tokayev, an honor guard was assembled. As his motorcade approached the palace, it was accompanied by a cavalry escort.

President Tokayev was greeted by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The national anthems of both countries were played, accompanied by a 21-gun salute.


The two leaders inspected the honor guard and introduced members of their official delegations to one another.

Following the ceremony, official talks between the heads of state commenced.
President Tokayev arrived in Ankara on July 28 for his official visit.
At Ankara Esenboga Airport, he was met personally by President Erdoğan. A ceremonial honor guard had also been assembled at the foot of the aircraft steps.
Such personal receptions by Erdoğan are rare and typically reserved for leaders of especially friendly nations.
During his visit to Ankara, Tokayev has already held several meetings with representatives of Turkish companies.
