Weather in Astana
On July 5, Astana will see partly cloudy skies, with occasional rain showers and thunderstorms, and possible hail during the day. Winds will shift from west to northwest at 9–14 m/s, with gusts reaching 15–20 m/s in the afternoon. Overnight temperatures will be +14 to +16 °C, with daytime highs of +22 to +24 °C.
Saturday in Astana will bring brief rain and cooler conditions.
On July 6, no rain is expected, with partly cloudy skies. Westerly winds will blow at 9–14 m/s. Night temperatures will stay around +14 to +16 °C, while daytime highs will rise to +26 to +28 °C.
Sunday is forecast to be pleasant and dry.
On July 7, rain, thunderstorms, and possible hail could return during the day. Westerly winds will continue at 9–14 m/s. Overnight lows will be +17 to +19 °C, with daytime temperatures holding steady at +26 to +28 °C.
By Monday, more unstable weather is expected to return to the capital.
Weather in Almaty
On July 5, Almaty will see partly cloudy skies with no precipitation forecast. Southwest winds will blow at 3–8 m/s, with daytime gusts up to 13 m/s. Overnight temperatures will be +22 to +24 °C, while daytime highs will soar to a scorching +36 to +38 °C.
Saturday is expected to be the hottest day of the week in Almaty.
On July 6, partly cloudy conditions will persist, with no rain expected. Northwest winds will blow at 3–8 m/s. Temperatures at night will remain at +22 to +24 °C, while daytime highs will ease slightly to +31 to +33 °C.
Sunday will stay hot, though less extreme.
On July 7, the city will again see partly cloudy skies without precipitation. Easterly winds will be 3–8 m/s. Temperatures overnight will be +22 to +24 °C, with daytime highs reaching +32 to +34 °C.
Hot weather is expected to continue into Monday.
