Ministry of Economic Development and Trade forecasts budget deficit will be cut down to 1.3% of the nation’s GDP by 2014, Minister Kelimbetov said at a government’s sitting today, May 5. “As for the budget for the next three years, the budget deficit in 2012-2014 is to be cut down from $4.6 billion in 2012 to $3 billion in 2014, which is from 2.5% of the GDP to 1.3% of the GDP respectively.
