January 10: Partly cloudy with no precipitation, light drifting snow. Southwest wind at 9-14 m/s. Temperature: -8 to -10°C at night, -5 to -7°C during the day.
January 11: Partly cloudy with no precipitation. Southwest wind at 3-8 m/s. Temperature: -10 to -12°C at night, -5 to -7°C during the day.

Almaty weather forecast

January 9: Partly cloudy with no precipitation. Occasional fog and icy roads expected. Wind at 0-5 m/s. Temperature: -11 to -13°C at night, -1 to -3°C during the day.
January 10-11: Partly cloudy with no precipitation. Foggy at night and in the morning, icy roads expected. Wind at 0-5 m/s. Temperature: -10 to -12°C at night, 0 to -2°C during the day.

Forecasters also clarified the weather forecast for winter 2024/2025 in Kazakhstan. It is noted that in general, the winter temperature regime is expected to be within the climatic norm with precipitation exceeding the long-term norm. However, periods with cessation of precipitation and abnormally low air temperatures are not excluded.
