Tengrinews.kz - Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov called on officials to forget about beautiful presentations and get down to concrete work. He stated this at a meeting on the implementation of the instructions voiced by the President during an extended government meeting on January 28.
"We need a concrete result in each area that the Head of State spoke about yesterday. We don't need plans and beautiful reports, we need a result, an effect from each manager: both at the center and at the local level. It is impossible to achieve a positive result in the new conditions using old bureaucratic methods of work and engaging in formalism. We need to discard all this and start solving specific problems, specific questions from investors," Bektenov said.
The Head of Government called on officials to actively help businessmen build and open new factories, enterprises, and production facilities in Kazakhstan.
"No beautiful presentations, we have many 'masters of sports' [champions] in presentations. They present, and in the end, nothing comes of it. This should not be. Specific work. If someone is not ready for this work, is not ready to change, is not ready to work without formalism and bureaucracy - come, honestly say so. Let's not get on each other's nerves. Say: 'I can't, give me another job'," the Prime Minister concluded.
