Azerbaijan Foreign Minister to visit Astana

On June 27-28 Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mamedyarov will take part in 38th session of the OIC (Organization of the Islamic Conference) Council of Foreign Ministers in Astana, DAY.az reports.Mamedyarov is expected to give a speech at the Council's session and hold bilateral meetings.Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that special attention will be given to the issues of international and religious security during Kazakhstan's chairmanship in the OIC. Kazakhstan will focus on support to development and solution of social issues, promotion of inter-civilization dialog, provision for interaction between the Islamic world and the West and prevention of islamophobia.
