According to the press service of the State Revenue Committee, due to the Spring Festival in China, the passage of individuals, vehicles, and goods through vehicle checkpoints on the Kazakhstan-China border will be suspended from 8:00 PM on January 27 to 8:00 AM on February 1.
Railway checkpoints on the Kazakhstan-China border will continue to operate as usual.
Transporters and travelers are advised to cross the border in advance and plan their routes considering the restrictions in place.
