Astana and Almaty weather forecast for the coming days

March 14: Variable cloudiness, precipitation during the day (rain, snow). Ice on roads. South wind 9-14 m/s. Temperature: from -8 to -10°C at night, around 0°C during the day.

March 15: Variable cloudiness, snow at night. Southwest wind 5-10 m/s. Temperature: from -3 to -5°C at night, from +1 to +3°C during the day.

March 16: Variable cloudiness, precipitation during the day (mostly rain). Southwest wind 5-10 m/s at night, 9-14 m/s during the day, gusts up to 15-20 m/s. Temperature: from -4 to -6°C at night, from +2 to +4°C during the day.

Almaty weather forecast

March 14: Variable cloudiness, no precipitation. Southwest wind 2-7 m/s. Temperature: from 0 to -2°C at night, from +11 to +13°C during the day.

March 15: Variable cloudiness, rain during the day. Southeast wind 3-8 m/s. Temperature: from +3 to +5°C at night, from +13 to +15°C during the day.

March 16: Variable cloudiness, rain at night. Northeast wind 3-8 m/s. Temperature: from +3 to +5°C at night, from +13 to +15°C during the day.

Weather conditions have worsened in several regions of the country. Earlier, Kazhydromet issued a warning for residents of Astana, Almaty, and other cities across different regions of the country.

In addition, several more highways were closed due to bad weather in the Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions.
