Where heavy rains are expected in Kazakhstan
At the beginning of the period, due to atmospheric frontal systems, most parts of Kazakhstan will see rain with thunderstorms. On July 19, heavy rain, hail, and squalls are expected in the north and central regions, and on July 20 — in the eastern part of the country.
Anticyclone approaching
By the end of the period, a northwestern anticyclone will move into Kazakhstan, bringing an end to precipitation and a drop in temperature. Strong winds are expected across the country, with dust storms in the south and southwest. Fog is expected in the northwest and north during the night and morning hours.
Heat persists
In the coming days, very intense heat will remain in the west and southwest of the country — up to 43°C. In the northwest and east — up to 40°C, and in the southeast — up to 42°C.
