Tengrinews.kz – Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received an official welcome in Tashkent, Akorda reports.
The press service of the President of Kazakhstan published footage from the official welcoming ceremony for Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Uzbekistan, where he arrived on a state visit.
The national anthems of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were performed, and the report of the commander of the honor guard was heard.
At the end of the ceremony, the heads of state introduced members of their official delegations to one another.
On November 15, according to the program of the visit, the presidents will hold negotiations. In addition, under their chairmanship, the Second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will take place.

At Tashkent-Humo International Airport, the two heads of state held a conversation. The new airport, constructed since 2017, is designed for VIP and CIP service. The President of Kazakhstan became the first high-level guest to arrive at this airport.

On November 16, the President of Kazakhstan will take part in the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and Azerbaijan, which will also be held in Tashkent.
