Three regions of Almaty oblast were included in Almaty city limits, Interfax-Kazakhstan reports. Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has already signed the decree to change the Almaty boundaries. Now the city covers the total area of 1,330.25 hectares, including three new regions: Karasai region with the area of 823.82 hectares, Talgar region with 496.92 hectares and Ili region - 9.51 hectares.
