Heat to continue in Almaty

According to Kazhydromet’s forecast, extreme heat will persist in Almaty in the coming days. During the day, air temperatures will rise to +40 to +42 degrees, with no precipitation expected.

Why it is so hot in Kazakhstan

Earlier, Kazhydromet explained that the current heat wave was caused by a combination of two factors: a stable anticyclone that brought hot air masses from Central Asia and Iran, and long-term climate change.
