According to Bozumbayev, the investigation into the plane crash is ongoing.
"Within a month, according to ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) standards, there should be a preliminary (reported. - ed.), this is not a forensic investigation, but an investigation of an aviation accident by aviation authorities. The commission is working, about 17-18 people, these are experts from Russia, Azerbaijan, Brazil, ICAO, and so on. They focused on those materials, on decrypting the black boxes. They were completely decrypted. Now the parameters, flight modes and audio communications with the ground, among themselves, the crew, they are superimposed. And certain conclusions will be made," Kanat Bozumbayev said at a government briefing.
According to him, the forensic examination at the Ministry of Justice is currently carrying out the relevant work.
"Relatives must believe that these are actually the voices of pilots, crew members and so on. This is a large international effort. We hope that the preliminary part will be published next week," the Deputy Prime Minister added.
Baku-Grozny plane crash near Aktau: What happened?
Azerbaijan Airlines plane, flying from Baku (Azerbaijan) to Grozny (Russia), crashed three kilometers from Aktau at 11:30 A.M. local time on December 25. The passenger flight was unable to land in Grozny due to heavy fog, first, it was redirected to Makhachkala, and then to Aktau.

Investigation
An interdepartmental investigative task force has been created under the leadership of the Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan. It includes specialists from the transport prosecutor's office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The investigation is under the special control of the Prosecutor General and the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Embraer specialists have flown to Kazakhstan.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there were 69 people on board, including 5 crew members:
- 42 citizens of Azerbaijan;
- 16 citizens of Russia;
- 6 citizens of Kazakhstan;
- 3 citizens of Kyrgyzstan;
- two unidentified women of unknown citizenship, one about 32 years old, the other about 40 years old.
