Akorda announces important address by President Tokayev

Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will speak at the 5th meeting of the National Kurultai in Kyzylorda.

This was reported by the President’s aide and press secretary, Ruslan Zheldibay.

The meeting of the National Kurultai will take place on 20 January in Kyzylorda.

“During the event, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will deliver a speech in which he will outline the main directions for Kazakhstan’s further development and address current issues of public life,” Ruslan Zheldibay wrote.

As a reminder, the Head of State decided to establish the National Kurultai in June 2022. The main purpose of this consultative and advisory body under the President is to discuss pressing issues that determine the country’s development path.

The first four meetings of the Kurultai were held in Ulytau, Turkistan, Atyrau and Burabay.

The thematic sections of this large-scale event cover key areas of public life:

• development of civil society;
• culture, art and spirituality;
• education and science;
• socio-economic development.

The key event of each Kurultai is an extensive address by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
