Air ambulance will be patrolling emergency-prone highways in Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports. Emergency medical response is one of priorities in the new healthcare development program, Minister of Healthcare Salidat Kairbekova says. For the first time in history a state coordination center will be created to ensure emergency mobilization of air medical teams. This will ensure prompt access to harsh terrains and hard-to-reach places in cases of emergency, Minister Kairbekova says. The Emergencies Ministry’s plan for Q2 is to patrol international and local roads and to cooperate with the new air ambulance forces.
