Tengrinews.kz – The Main Military Prosecutor’s Office has reported under which articles the investigation into the crash of the Eurocopter EC145 in Almaty Region is being conducted.
In response to an official inquiry, the agency stated that after the disappearance of the helicopter in Lake Sorbulak, the military investigative department initiated a pre-trial investigation under Article 464 of the Criminal Code (“Violation of flight rules or preparation for them”) and Article 451 (“Abuse of power”).
“At present, the pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and necessary measures are being taken to ensure a comprehensive, thorough, and objective examination of the circumstances of the case. The progress of the investigation is under the supervision of the Main Military Prosecutor’s Office,” the statement said.
As a reminder, on July 25 in Almaty Region, a military EC-145 helicopter disappeared from radar. As previously reported, three people were on board.
