Abnormal heat up to +40°C to hit Kazakhstan on August 27

Tengrinews.kz – On Wednesday, August 27, hot weather is expected in Kazakhstan, with some areas experiencing dust storms and thunderstorms, according to Kazhydromet.

In the southern regions, abnormal heat up to +40°C will persist, with a dust storm forecast in Kyzylorda region. In the west of the country, some areas will see rain, thunderstorms, and even hail. In the center and the capital, the weather will be sunny and warm – around +30°C. In the east and north, it will be cooler, but also without precipitation.

Astana (Akmola region) – partly cloudy, no precipitation, +30…+32°C during the day, +13…+15°C at night. Karaganda – clear, +28…+30°C. Zhezkazgan – +32…+34°C during the day, +18…+20°C at night.

South

Almaty (Almaty region) – +31…+33°C, no precipitation. Konaev – up to +34°C, clear skies. Taldykorgan – +30…+32°C. Shymkent – up to +37°C. Taraz – +32…+34°C. Turkestan – up to +38°C. Kyzylorda – +35…+37°C, daytime dust storm.

North and East
