Tengrinews.kz – On September 30, several streets in Almaty will be closed due to the football match between Kairat and Real Madrid.
The Almaty Police Department has published a map showing that traffic will be restricted starting from 4:00 PM in the following three areas:
- Baitursynov Street – from Shevchenko Street to Timiryazev Street;
- Satpayev Street – from Seifullin Avenue to Baizakov Street;
- Abay Avenue – from Seifullin Avenue to Mukanov Street.
“The City Police Department urges residents and guests of the city to review the traffic restriction map in advance, adjust their routes, and take changes into account. We thank citizens for their understanding and cooperation. These are temporary measures aimed at ensuring public safety and the smooth running of the event,” the statement said.
The Kairat and Real Madrid match will take place today, September 30, at Almaty's Central Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 9:45 PM local time.
