Tengrinews.kz - Two vehicle crossings on the border with the Russian Federation, Syrym and Alimbet, are planned for reconstruction. The Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan provided details on when this will happen.
According to the Ministry of Transport, the modernization and reconstruction of the vehicle checkpoints on the Syrym – Mashtakovo and Alimbet – Orsk sections are currently at the preparatory stage.
"At the same time, the actual start of construction and installation works is planned for the warmer season, and during these works, the checkpoints will continue to operate in a limited mode.
Information regarding the exact date of the start of the actual works for the modernization and reconstruction of the aforementioned checkpoints, as well as the operational schedule, will be provided separately and in advance, taking into account the work plan of the contracting company," the Ministry of Transport’s press service explained.
