Tengrinews.kz – The warm days in Astana have come to an end. The city’s Emergency Situations Department has warned residents and visitors about an upcoming change in weather conditions.

Tengrinews.kz – The warm days in Astana have come to an end. The city’s Emergency Situations Department has warned residents and visitors about an upcoming change in weather conditions.

According to the department, citing Kazhydromet, fog and icy roads are expected in the capital on Monday, November 24. The wind will blow from the southwest, shifting to the northeast. Wind gusts at night and in the morning will reach 15–20 meters per second.

What will winter be like in Kazakhstan?

Earlier, Kazhydromet presented its weather forecast for the upcoming winter in Kazakhstan. According to meteorologists, the winter of 2025–2026 will bring “temperature swings”: periods of thaw will alternate with waves of cold.
