Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for September 23, 24, and 25.
Heavy rains and snow
Due to the passage of atmospheric frontal systems, most parts of Kazakhstan will continue to experience rain, with thunderstorms expected in the western and southern regions during the day. On September 23 in the east, and on September 23–24 in the southeast, heavy rainfall is expected. In the mountainous areas, rain may turn into snow during the nighttime hours.
Strong winds are forecast across the country, with fog likely during nighttime and early morning hours.
Temperature outlook
A gradual rise in daytime temperatures is expected in most of Kazakhstan, reaching 20–28°C. In the east, temperatures will range from 10–15°C early on, increasing to 15–25°C.
Weather trend for September
According to meteorologists, September in Kazakhstan will begin with a short-term cold snap due to cold air masses arriving from the Salekhard region.
Rain and wet snow are possible in the mountainous areas of the southeast and east. Most of the country will experience unstable weather with precipitation, some of it heavy, as well as thunderstorms, hail, and gusty winds.
Frosts are likely in northern, central, and eastern regions, especially at night and in the morning, accompanied by fog.
Meanwhile, the southwest of the country is expected to see a rise in temperatures, potentially leading to intense heat.
