Tengrinews.kz - President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, citing Akorda.

Tokayev sent a congratulatory telegram to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

"Your beautiful country, which has achieved impressive progress in socio-economic development, holds a worthy place in Asia and on the global stage. I am confident that Pakistan will continue steadily on its path toward building a prosperous and sustainable society," the telegram read.

The head of state stressed that Kazakhstan considers Pakistan a key partner in the region and expressed readiness to further strengthen multifaceted cooperation for the benefit of both nations.
