Tengrinews.kz – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his support for the ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages in the Gaza Strip, reached through indirect negotiations in Egypt, presidential press secretary and assistant Ruslan Zheldibay reported.

Tengrinews.kz – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed his support for the ceasefire agreement and the release of hostages in the Gaza Strip, reached through indirect negotiations in Egypt, presidential press secretary and assistant Ruslan Zheldibay reported.

“Tokayev noted the effectiveness of the mediation efforts by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, as well as the special contribution of the United States, led by President Donald Trump, to the negotiation process aimed at achieving lasting peace in the Middle East,” the statement said.

As a reminder, on Thursday, October 9, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that Israel and the Hamas movement had reached agreements as part of the first phase of the peace plan.
