Tengrinews.kz - The tenge continued to strengthen against the US dollar during trading in Kazakhstan on June 9.

Tengrinews.kz - The tenge continued to strengthen against the US dollar during trading in Kazakhstan on June 9.

According to the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the average weighted exchange rate of the US dollar stood at 508.50 tenge, down 1.66 tenge from the previous session. The National Bank’s official rate for June 9 is set at 510.19 tenge per dollar.

As per data from kurs.kz, the average dollar buying rate at exchange offices in Almaty is 505.35 tenge, while the selling rate is 511.22 tenge. In Astana, the dollar is being bought at around 506.52 tenge and sold at 512.56 tenge.
