Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for July 31 as well as for August 1 and 2.
Hot days give way to rain
Due to the influence of a cyclone, the hot summer days in Kazakhstan have been replaced by rain and thunderstorms. Even in the south of the country, the heat is subsiding.
"With low movement speeds, the cyclone will continue to affect almost the entire territory of Kazakhstan in the coming days – rain is expected, with heavy rain in parts of the north and east of the republic, and hail possible in some areas," meteorologists reported.
What about the temperature?
Starting from August 2, as the northern anticyclone shifts to the rear of the departing cyclone, significant changes in weather conditions are expected in Kazakhstan. Atmospheric pressure will begin to rise, precipitation will gradually stop, and dry weather will set in across most of the country. Daytime temperatures in northern Kazakhstan will noticeably drop — to +15…+20 °C.
