Tengrinews.kz – Kazakh virtuoso pianist Oleg Pereverzev has passed away at the age of 45 in Almaty.

Tengrinews.kz – Kazakh virtuoso pianist Oleg Pereverzev has passed away at the age of 45 in Almaty.

The musician died on April 11, but the news only became public several days later. According to a post on Facebook by composer Alim Zairov, Pereverzev’s body was found in his own apartment. The pianist had recently celebrated his birthday.

The date and location of the farewell ceremony will be announced later.

In 2014, Oleg Pereverzev was featured in a TengrinewsTV segment about talented Kazakhstani individuals. The virtuoso took part in the Russian show Minute of Fame and the Ukrainian show Ukraine's Got Talent. A video of him performing "Flight of the Bumblebee" on two instruments simultaneously garnered over three million views on YouTube.
