Tengrinews.kz – During a meeting with representatives of the public in Zhambyl Region, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid tribute to Kazakh artists.
On 25 December, the President arrived in Taraz on a working visit. During the meeting with local residents, he noted that a new culture is now taking shape in the country, based on the principles of solidarity and care, cleanliness and responsibility.

“In this regard, I would like to separately mention the nationwide campaign ‘Clean Kazakhstan’. This year, 335.6 million seedlings were planted across the country. Indeed, this unique project, which has received nationwide support, has had a tremendous impact on changing the lifestyle and worldview of our people. I attach special importance to this nationwide movement. Cleanliness is a very profound and important concept that implies not only the outward neatness of streets, homes and apartments, but also the purity of one’s inner thoughts,” the President said.
He also stressed that Kazakhstan’s boundless steppes should be transformed into a blooming green land, and that cleanliness must become an integral part of the national way of life.

The President believes that the current year has become a year of genuine progress for Kazakhstan.
“Our school and university students have won more than a thousand medals at various academic Olympiads and competitions. Thanks to the achievements of our athletes, the turquoise flag of Kazakhstan has repeatedly flown high at international events. Talented artists are widely promoting our national culture in all corners of the world. Our people have gained global recognition as a nation distinguished by high spiritual values and progressive thinking,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
In his address, he also emphasized that Kazakhstan is steadily consolidating its position as a safe country.
