The bust of Abai Kunanbayev is located next to the monument of Taikazan, a bronze replica of a kazan situated at the Ahmed Yasawi Mosque in Turkestan. Recently, the park saw renovations, with new benches, pathways, and lighting installed.

It is worth noting that a monument to Abai Kunanbayev was installed in Moscow in 2006 on Chistoprudny Boulevard, near the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Russia.

As a reminder, the BRICS summit will be held in Kazan on October 23-24. The press secretary to the President of Kazakhstan previously confirmed that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev is scheduled to attend and will deliver a speech on October 24 during the organization's expanded session in an outreach format.

Earlier, Advisor and Press Secretary of the Kazakh President, Berik Uali mentioned that Kazakhstan had received proposals to join BRICS. He added that these proposals are being carefully considered by the President, with relevant agencies analyzing them in line with the country’s national interests.
