Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet has issued a warning for residents of Astana and other cities in various regions of the country.
"On March 28, 2025, unfavorable meteorological conditions for air pollution are expected in the cities of Kokshetau, Pavlodar, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey, Ridder, Uralsk, Atyrau, Aktobe, Aktau, Astana, and during the night in the city of Petropavlovsk," the statement said.
Unfavorable meteorological conditions refer to a combination of short-term weather factors (calm, light wind, fog, inversion) that contribute to the accumulation of harmful (polluting) substances in the lower layers of the atmosphere.

On March 28, the capital will see partly cloudy skies with no precipitation. Easterly winds at 7–12 meters per second. Air temperature will be -3 to -5°C at night and +7 to +9°C during the day.
