Tengrinews.kz – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev signed the law "On the ratification of the agreement on the exchange of biological material", according to the Akorda.

This agreement will allow for the expansion and deepening of cooperation between the veterinary services of the CIS member states in the joint identification of pathogens of particularly dangerous diseases, replenishment of national collections of microorganisms and the adoption of timely veterinary measures.

The agreement, at the request of the parties, provides for laboratory testing of biological material in accredited and reference laboratories, taking into account the epizootic situation and scientific interests.

As reported by the official website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic, based on these studies, it is planned to develop vaccines, medicines, diagnostics and treatment of animal diseases. They will also contribute to improving the knowledge and qualifications of specialized specialists.

The text of the law is published in the press.

Earlier, President Tokayev ratified the agreement between the governments of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.
