Tengrinews.kz - The Department of Education of Astana reported changes in the format of schoolchildren's studies due to bad weather.

As reported by the department, due to the deterioration of weather conditions on November 7, 2024, students of grades 0-9 of the second shift will switch to a distance learning format.

Today the capital's akimat (local government administration) addressed residents due to bad weather.

"Since the morning of November 7, more than 2,000 road workers and about 750 units of special equipment have been out to clear the city streets of snow. The main areas being cleared are central streets, public transport routes, bus stops and sidewalks. There are several equipped snow disposal areas in the city," the akimat reported.
