A guard of honor and a horse guard in Mongolian armor were lined up at Sukhbaatar Square in front of the Government Palace.
After the report of the Commander of the State Guard of Honor, the national anthems of the two countries were played, and the presidents introduced members of the official delegations to each other.
Then Kassym-Jomart Tokayev left a memorable entry in the Book of Honored Guests. After the ceremony, the heads of state went to the negotiating hall.
