Weather forecast for Astana
On August 9, the capital is expected to see partly cloudy skies with no precipitation. Winds will be from the northeast at 7-12 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will be +8 to +10°C, with daytime highs of +20 to +22°C.
On August 10, partly cloudy skies will persist with no precipitation. Northeasterly winds are expected at 5-10 m/s. The temperature will remain between +8 and +10°C at night, rising to +22 to +24°C during the day.
On August 11, the partly cloudy, dry weather will continue. Winds will shift to the southeast at 5-10 m/s. Temperatures will range from +10 to +12°C at night and reach +25 to +27°C during the day.
Weather forecast for Almaty
From August 9 to 11, Almaty is expected to experience partly cloudy weather with no precipitation. Winds will come from the southwest at 3-8 m/s. Nighttime temperatures will range from +20 to +22°C, while daytime heat will persist, reaching highs of +34 to +36°C.
What to expect in August
Earlier, Kazhydromet released its forecast for August 2025. Most of the country is expected to experience moderately hot weather, while temperatures in the south and southwest are projected to exceed seasonal norms.
