Euro rises, dollar and ruble stable in Kazakhstan

Dollar to tenge exchange rate on November 1

As of 11:00 a.m., the dollar was sold for 491.99 tenge and bought for 487.01 tenge in Astana. In Almaty, it was sold for 489.15 tenge and bought for 487.59 tenge.

On October 31, exchange offices in Astana sold the dollar for 491.98 tenge and bought it for 487.01 tenge, while in Almaty, the selling rate was 489.05 tenge and the buying rate was 487.16 tenge.

Euro to tenge exchange rate on November 1

In Astana, exchange offices sold the euro for 532.97 tenge and bought it for 526.98 tenge. In Almaty, the selling rate was 533.25 tenge and the buying rate was 529.48 tenge.

On October 31, the euro was sold for 532.00 tenge and bought for 526.00 tenge in Astana, while in Almaty, the selling rate was 532.00 tenge and the buying rate was 528.21 tenge.

Ruble to tenge exchange rate on November 1

In Astana, the Russian ruble was sold for 5.07 tenge and bought for 4.97 tenge. In Almaty, it was sold and bought at the same rates: 5.07 tenge and 4.97 tenge, respectively.

On October 31, the ruble was sold for 5.07 tenge and bought for 4.97 tenge in both Astana and Almaty.

Official exchange rates from the National Bank on November 1

1 dollar - 488.26 tenge
1 euro - 530.54 tenge
1 ruble - 5.03 tenge

Earlier, Kazakhstan’s National Bank's chairman commented on the tenge's volatility, advising a shift in focus away from the dollar.
