By the end of the daytime session on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the weighted average exchange rate stood at 546.36 tenge, up 4.09 tenge from the previous session. The National Bank's official rate for July 30 is 542.03 tenge per dollar.

According to kurs.kz, the average dollar exchange rate in Almaty’s exchange offices is currently 543.39 tenge for buying and 546.33 tenge for selling. In Astana, the average buy rate is 540.56 tenge, while the sell rate is 547.56 tenge.

Earlier, the dollar surpassed 550 tenge in exchange offices across the country. The National Bank later announced that it had begun currency interventions to stabilize the market.
