By the end of the daytime trading session on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), the weighted average dollar rate stood at 540.87 tenge, up by 2.77 tenge. The official rate set by the National Bank for August 15 is 538.03 tenge per dollar.

According to kurs.kz, at present, the average dollar purchase rate in Almaty exchange offices is 540.58 tenge, and the selling rate is 542.75 tenge. In Astana, exchange offices buy the U.S. currency at an average of 538.62 tenge and sell it for 545.61 tenge.

Earlier, analysts issued a forecast for the dollar exchange rate in September.
