The CSTO includes Armenia (its participation has been “frozen” since 2024), Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
It is noted that Kazakhstan chaired the CSTO throughout 2024, handing over this role to Kyrgyzstan on 1 January 2025.
