Weather in Kazakhstan to change sharply

According to the forecast, a complex synoptic situation is expected across Kazakhstan in the coming days. The west and south of the country will be affected by a southern cyclone bringing rain and thunderstorms, while a cold anticyclone will persist in the north, east and center.

Strong winds are expected across the country, with a dust storm in the south. Fog is forecast at night and in the morning in the north, east and mountainous areas of the southeast.

Temperature outlook

A sharp temperature contrast will remain in Kazakhstan in the coming days. In the south and west of the country, temperatures are expected to rise to +35°C, with short-term rain and thunderstorms, while frost down to -6°C is possible at night in the northern and eastern regions. During the day, temperatures will rise to +20…+30°C.
