Tengrinews.kz – Kazhydromet meteorologists have released the weather forecast for November 13, 14, and 15.
Fog and snowstorms to cover most of Kazakhstan
In the coming days, most of Kazakhstan will be under the influence of a trough of the Atlantic cyclone and associated frontal systems. As a result, precipitation (rain and snow) is expected, with heavy rain and snow forecast for November 13 in the eastern and southeastern regions.
“Fog, icy conditions, strong winds, and drifting snow are expected across much of the country — particularly in the east, north, and central regions. Only the south and southwest of Kazakhstan will see dry weather,” the statement said.
Temperature outlook
Meteorologists predict a short-term temperature drop:
- North: nighttime −5 to −12 °C, daytime 0 to −6 °C;
- Northwest: nighttime −2 to −10 °C, daytime 0 to −5 °C;
- Central regions: nighttime −3 to −13 °C, daytime −6 to +3 °C;
- East: nighttime −8 to −20 °C, daytime 0 to −10 °C.
No significant temperature changes are expected in other regions, forecasters noted.
