Kazakhstan’s oil production output for January – July grew 1.6% as compared to the like period of 2010, the State Agency for Statistics reports. According to the states, crude and condensed gas production output for the first 7 months totaled 46.6 million tons. According to the Ministry of Oil and gas, production of crude oil and condensed gas in 2010 totaled 80 million tons, 4.2% up against 2009. Late July KazMunaiGas EP, ranked 2nd in Kazakhstan in terms of oil production output, had reported that its 2011 annual oil production output may fall 6% due to the industrial action persisting since May at Ozenmunaigas production facility in Zhanaozen city in Mangistau oblast.
