14 000 Kazakhstan citizens to vote abroad

14 000 Kazakhstan citizens will vote abroad, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic of Kazakhstan. According to the CEC, that is the number of Kazakhstan citizens enjoying the suffrage temporarily based abroad. Most of them are based in Russia, Turkey and China. Earlier the CEC reported that polling stations were ready in 35 embassies of Kazakhstan. “We have arranged 35 polling stations at Kazakhstan’s embassies. The issue was coordinated with the Foreign Ministry. All the documents are in place and the stations are ready for the elections”, Kuandyk Turgankulov, CEC Chairman, announced earlier.
