Kazakhstan was ranked 67th in development of information technologies list made by analysts of the World Economic Forum (WEF). The Networked Readiness Index-2010-2011 list compares 138 countries. Sweden is holding the first place in the list both this year and last year. Top five IT-developed countries also include Singapore, Finland, Switzerland and USA. Almost all the countries retained their last year's positions in the list. Finland has gone 3 ranks up. Kazakhstan was ranked 68th last year. It is ahead of such post-Soviet countries as Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, but behind Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia.
