Tengrinews.kz – Users in Kazakhstan are reporting that they cannot access ChatGPT, as several major online platforms experience technical disruptions worldwide.

Kazakh users say the service is not loading or allowing logins, according to messages received by Tengrinews.kz. The movie-review platform Letterboxd is also unavailable.

International media report similar issues abroad, noting problems not only with ChatGPT and Letterboxd but also with Spotify and X (formerly Twitter).

Several outlets suggest the outage may be linked to a failure in Cloudflare, a cloud infrastructure provider whose services support thousands of websites and apps globally.

Cloudflare confirmed it was experiencing an internal performance drop.

“Cloudflare is observing reduced performance internally. Some services may intermittently experience disruptions. We are continuing to work on restoring service for customer applications,” the company said.

The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan has been asked for comment.

ChatGPT, developed by OpenAI, is one of the world’s most widely used AI-powered chatbots.
