Almaty Arbat gets free Wi-Fi hubs

Free Wi-Fi hubs have become available to Almaty residents at Arbat (Almaty’s artist row on a tree-lined pedestrian part of Zhybek-Zholy street near Tsum mall), Tengrinews.kz reports. The presentation of the project took place on December 28. The free Wi-Fi access offers access to information and services at the e-government ( www.e-gov.kz ) and city’s administration ( www.almaty.kz) websites. “19 social, educational, cultural, land relations and archive e-service programs were worked out and introduced by the Akimat (administration) of Almaty city. These services are available for Almaty citizens at the official website of Almaty Akimat,” the press-release reads.
