Tengrinews.kz - Kazakhstan is set to sign an agreement with Amazon to bring their internet services to the country, announced the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry.

During the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Digital Inclusion and Transformation, Minister Zhaslan Madiev revealed that Kazakhstan will sign several agreements, including one with Amazon Kuiper.

"One of the important agreements is with Amazon Kuiper. By fostering competition in this area, we can offer citizens higher-quality services at an affordable price," the minister stated.

Amazon Kuiper, a subsidiary of Amazon, provides satellite internet services and is considered an alternative to Starlink and OneWeb, according to Madiev.
